If you want to learn programming, but are afraid to dive straight in, you might want to check out this program. This “old-fashioned” Basic interpreter is a simple, easy to learn, programming language. This package comes with limited documentation to get you going, but is mostly compatible with other books and literature on programming in Basic. If you use Macromedia’s Director, this Lingo XTra will allow you to capture specific regions of the screen, your desktop, or the stage, and store these captures as either castmembers or PICTs. Great for creating new images on the fly. 68k and PPC compatible. Requires at least Macromedia’s Director 5.0.
